Last month I photographed another of Finola Maynard & Lucy Davidson’s fabulous Makers Market event. This time it was hosted on the beautiful grounds of Lime Cross Nursery in Hailsham. There was lots of creative workshops, artists selling their handmade work, delicious homemade pizza and local beer & wine. Here are just a few of the snaps I took of the day’s activities.
Last weekend I was asked to photograph the launch of a new cafe in Eastbourne called The Art House. It’s a space where you can grab a bite of delicious food made by Roo and her kitchen team, with there being a fantastic choice of hot and cold food to choose from, along with a great selection of sweet treats to have with a cup of fresh coffee! The Art House not only offers amazing homemade food but it also hosts a range of workshops and events such as pottery painting, cooking workshops, supper clubs and birthday parties.

I photographed an amazing new event that’s started in Brighton called The Maker’s Market, hosted by ceramicist Finola Maynard (Pop-Up Pottery) and graphic designer Lucy Davidson (Peas and Needles). It was held upstairs at The Joker on London Road, and was a great night filled with ceramic and weaving workshops with lots of beautiful handmade design and craft to buy. Here are some snaps I took for the talented ceramic artist Finola Maynard at her new Pop Up Pottery venue where she was hosting one of her workshops. The venue is a cool bar that’s recently opened in Eastbourne, they sell some amazing cocktails and have a room at the back which was perfect for Finola to set up her workshop in. Finola is the owner of Pop Up Pottery which is a portable pottery class that is held around Brighton and other areas of East Sussex including Eastbourne’s Eastbourne Cocktail Club.
